This is so much fun. If you like Serious Sam at all, then you should like this. It's a twin stick shooter that is easy to learn.. Serious Sam: Tormental is like the Dark Souls of Rogue-Lite/Bullet Hell games. It's a fun combination of Enter the Gungeon and Serious Sam.This isn't much of a first impressions review, as I've played quite a bit. I love this game. I saw a negative review because you die quickly and it's hard, but it's called Tormental for a reason ;)Tormental is possibly my favorite game currently (I'm a sucker for Bullet Hell games, and a sucker for Serious Sam.)I played this game quite a bit so far, and I will DEFINITELY play more!Pros:-Fun-Easy to Learn-Hard to Master-Original voice actor still voicing Serious Sam, still a plus imo, he's a nice guy.-Multiple playable characters-Hard bossesCons:-Only a few rooms per area, I personally want more rooms like Gungeon.-Sound Design for music and such is not goodBugs I found-Bombs spawn on me during the Rodeo boss (fixed)-Dodging doesn't work (fixed, I think)-My cursor didn't work in game (fixed)Overall? I can see hundreds of hours coming from this game, but let's have more areas to explore, better sound quality and a few more varieties of Serious Weapons. :). frustrating, unfair, badly balanced and not fun!small enemies do as much harm as big enemies you go dead with 3 hits not fun and one can not save even if it should be a rogue shooter in any case because Serious Sam's Bogus Detour had done better even if you try it 5-6 times you do not come to the next world, start all over again not a fun gamei had expected more beautiful and i'm disappointed, sorry croteam. It's like Nuclear Throne but better. I would have liked to have seen more of the classic Serious Sam enemies - I didn't recognize any of these guys.. The game is really fun and it really feels like a Serious Sam game, even though it's a top - down twin stick shooter. The gameplay is fast paced, fluid and responsive - exactly how you would expect it to be from a team that comes from the Croteam incubator.. I am definitely enjoying this game and loving how it is evolving into a full experience.. WON IN A GIVEAWAYWhile the game in enjoyable it feels lacking in boss fights. Each zone has a specific boss atm unsure if this will change, but after fighting the two bulls 30 times, i am getting pretty tired of it. I let this pass for the time being as well it is early access.I haven't had significant bugs messing up the game.The thing is I said I would do a review once I make a single loop, but I have unable to do that. I am just so used to dodge rolling (i.e. pressing Shift) in these sorts of game that the idea of pressing spacebar to jump over bullets feels somewhat alien. I think if I could get around that issue, then I would be able to loop pretty easy as it not super duper hard.. You get to run and gun in Mental's mind. 10/10
